Omni Hotels & Resorts in Louisville, KY seeks a Speakeasy Bartender (PM shift) to provide efficient, friendly service at all times, maintain a clean, professional appearance and ensure guests at the bar are satisfied promptly.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, knowledge of food and beverage offerings, bar setup, handling transactions in MICROS, upselling wine, spirits and beer, and upholding legal alcohol service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year bartending experience in a high-volume casual/sports bar environment.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer, including pours and mixology.
• Previous cash handling experience.
• Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers.
• Ability to input information accurately into MICROS.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and welcoming demeanor.
• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers within and outside of your department.
• Ability to prioritize and follow up on guest requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service, service recovery and problem solving skills.
• STAR certification.
• Food Handlers certification.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Move, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds; stand for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Acknowledge and greet guests; anticipate needs and respond to inquiries.
• Must know all food and beverage offerings.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and organization.
• Provide silverware and condiments as needed.
• Clean and reset bar area after guests depart or drinks prepared.
• Proper bar setup and breakdown; triple sink procedures.
• Communicate professionally with management, kitchen and serving staff.
• Contribute to a professional workplace; support FOH and BOH teams.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service per legal requirements.
