Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a hands-on Sous Chef – PM Restaurant Operations for The DeSoto Savannah. You will lead the evening kitchen, support breakfast and banquet needs, and partner with the Executive Chef to elevate the restaurant program.

The ideal candidate has a background in hotel or upscale casual dining, a passion for quality, and the ability to coach cooks while ensuring consistent execution during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of culinary leadership in a sous chef or similar role.
• Experience in high-volume, hotel or upscale restaurant operations preferred.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead PM restaurant culinary operations, including daily prep, line setup and service execution.
• Maintain consistent standards for food quality, flavor, presentation and portioning.
• Establish production priorities and ensure proper staffing before service.
• Lead the line during service and communicate priorities to the team.
• Develop cooks with emphasis on fundamentals, consistency and efficiency.
• Collaborate with FOH leadership to coordinate service and guest experience.
