Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. seeks a Production Attendant for the PM shift with rotating days off. You will monitor curd pH, log production data, and perform CIP on production tables to ensure quality and safety.

The role requires adherence to GMP, HACCP, and 5S standards and cooperation with the cooker/molder team. High school diploma or GED and basic math skills are required, along with the ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor curd pH and ingredients
• Add salt to tables
• Complete production logs accurately
• Perform CIP on tables as needed
• Relieve cooker/molder operator as needed
• Assist with changing RMC molds
• Submit samples for lab testing
• Assist CIP crews in tear downs of curd tables
• Clean the curd augers
• Keep work area clean and 5S compliant
• Maintain safe working conditions and compliance with regulations
• Adhere to DFA GMP policies and report nonconformities
• Attend required safety/HACCP/SQF training
• Monitor critical control points as part of HACCP
• Ensure documentation is complete and timely
• Other duties as assigned

Shift: PM with Rotating Days Off

General Purpose: Make sure tables in production area are in good condition before curd is pumped into them. Ensure cheese meets specifications as wells as PH is at specific level before draining whey and adding water.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor curd pH's and ingredients
• Add salt to tables
• Complete production logs accurately
• Perform CIP on tables as needed
• Relieve cooker/molder operator as needed
• Assist cooker/molder operator to change RMC molds
• Submit samples for lab testing
• Assist CIP crews in tear downs of the curd tables
• Clean the Curd Augers
• Keep work area clean and up to 5S standard
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Dedicate effort to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arrive
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
• Exhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion, and sound judgment
• Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity
• Attend required training, including but not limited to, Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF
• Responsible for monitoring and taking corrective actions when necessary for a critical controlpoint as part of the plant HACCP plan

Pay

• Competitive pay - $24.00 per hour.
• Rate includes $1.00 shift differential for hours worked between 6 PM and 6 AM
