Job summary

THOM Thomas Hospitals is seeking a professional Registered Nurse to provide nursing care in an inpatient hospital setting. The RN will apply clinical knowledge, exercise independent judgment, and coordinate with the health care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS within 30 days of hire, and at least 1 year of nursing experience. 12-hour shifts, PM shift, rotating weekends, part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Modifies patient’s plan of care based on data collection and patient’s individual needs.
• Uses Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) to provide patient care.
• Delegates according to scope of practice.
• Verifies the plan of care with interprofessional colleagues, patient, and caregiver(s).
• Provides education based on learning needs and involvement of family.

Education

Registered Nurse license (state-issued or multi-state via eNLC)

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
