Qualifications

• Active California LVN license in good standing.
• Active BLS certification.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused approach to care.
• Commitment to maintaining professional standards and providing quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents with professionalism and compassion.
• Supervise CNAs to ensure quality resident care during the shift.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policies.
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete charting and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Respond to resident needs, changes in condition, and emergencies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment.
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, safety, and well-being.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, therapists, families, and staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Contribute to a positive, respectful environment for residents and coworkers.
