Job summary

Coke Farm, part of Charlie's Produce in San Juan Bautista, CA, is seeking a Loader for full-time PM shift. The role emphasizes safe forklift operation, accurate loading of outbound orders, and strict adherence to dock safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of forklift experience preferred.
• Experience operating both single and single-double forklifts.
• Experience loading and securing outbound shipments in a distribution, warehouse, or shipping environment.
• Experience verifying orders and ensuring product accuracy before shipment.
• Strong understanding of shipping dock safety practices and trailer loading procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in shipping and loading dock areas.
• Fill out truck inspection paperwork and perform trailer safety checks before loading.
• Load trailers according to dispatch, route requirements, and driver load requests.
• Verify order accuracy, pallet counts, and quantities prior to loading.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping dock environment and report safety concerns.
