Job summary

Cambridge Healthcare Services, LLC is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents according to their assessment plans and applicable regulations. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of CNA training from an accredited program.
• Valid CNA certificate number is required.

Responsibilities

• Answering call lights.
• Ensure privacy during nursing care.
• Make residents comfortable (bed, water, etc.).
• Assist in feeding residents (cut food, spoon feed).
• Help with daily grooming, shower or sponge bath.
• Proper lifting and transferring residents.
• Help residents sit, stand and walk.
• Transport residents to dining area and back.
• Timely reporting of changes to the Nurse Supervisor.
• Protect resident files and HIPAA confidentiality.
• Follow facility policies and infection control.
• Report exposures to blood or hazardous materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
