Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and CNA training.
• Valid CNA certificate is required for employment.
• Must be able to read, write, speak English for resident care and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Answer call lights and provide privacy for nursing care.
• Assist in feeding, grooming, bathing, and daily activities.
• Help residents move safely with proper lifting techniques.
• Escort residents to dining areas and activities, then return to rooms.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the charge nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident records per HIPAA.
