TransForce is seeking a reliable CDL A Flatbed Driver for a local Eldridge, IA position. The role offers hourly pay with overtime, no-touch freight, and a steady Monday–Friday PM shift. Driver will haul steel beams on a local/regional shuttle to Schaumburg, IL with 1–5 stops daily.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, 9+ months CDL experience (3+ months flatbed), clean MVR, and DOT/FMCSA compliance. Benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• 9+ months of CDL driving experience with at least 3 months of flatbed experience.
• Clean motor vehicle record with no major violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Transport steel beams and bundles on local/regional routes.
• Operate flatbed or Conestoga, including chaining, strapping, and tarping.
• Maintain safety and compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Follow local schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM dispatch, 8–10 hour shifts.

TransForce is seeking a reliable CDL A Flatbed Driver for a local, Monday-through-Friday, PM shift position in Eldridge, Iowa. This role offers competitive hourly pay, consistent work, and no-touch freight operations. This driver will be transporting steel beams and bundles to multiple customers.

Pay & Schedule

• $35 per hour plus overtime
• Estimated weekly gross pay: $1,400
• Monday through Friday schedule, 3:00 PM dispatch.
• 8 - 10 hour shifts.
• Route type: Local/regional shuttle from Eldridge to Schaumburg, IL. 1 - 5 stops per day.
• Equipment: Flatbed or Conestoga - chaining, strapping, and tarping are required.
• Valid Class A CDL
• 9+ months of recent and verifiable CDL driving experience, and at least 3 months of flatbed experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license.
