TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Driver for a local truckload delivery operation in Kansas City, Missouri. This position offers consistent Monday-through-Friday work, home daily, and overtime opportunities.

Drivers will transport trailers containing wooden pallets between customer facilities and a local plant, with most deliveries involving drop-and-hook operations. The role requires a valid CDL Class A license, at least 1 year of recent driving experience, and a clean driving

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• 1+ year of recent, verifiable Class A driving experience in the past 3 years.
• Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and road test.
• Must meet all DOT/FMCSA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL Class A tractor-trailer on local delivery routes.
• Pickup and deliver trailers between customer facilities and the plant.
• Perform drop-and-hook deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Maneuver trailers in tight spaces and communicate delays to dispatch.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and follow safety regulations.

$27.00 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours | Kansas City, Missouri

About the Position

TransForce is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Driver for a local truckload delivery operation in Kansas City, Missouri. This position offers consistent Monday-through-Friday work, home daily, and overtime opportunities. Drivers will transport trailers containing wooden pallets between customer facilities and a local plant, with most deliveries involving drop-and-hook operations.

Pay & Schedule

• $27.00 per hour with overtime after 40
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM start
• Transmission: Automatic
• Handling: Primarily drop-and-hook
• Deliveries: Transport trailers between customer facilities and the local plant

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL Class A tractor-trailer on assigned local delivery routes.
• Pick up and deliver trailers containing wooden pallets between customer facilities and the plant.
• Complete scheduled drop-and-hook deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Transport trailers containing repaired pallets back to customer locations.Maneuver tractor-trailers safely in tight spaces and customer facilities.
• Communicate delivery delays or route concerns with dispatch.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow all applicable safety and transportation regulations.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years
• Valid CDL Class A license
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and road test
• Ability to safely maneuver tractor-trailers in confined spaces
• High school diploma or GED
• Previous logistics, warehouse, or over-the-road driving experience preferred
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
