Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality in Orlando is seeking a PM Security Officer to maintain a safe, secure environment for guests. Responsibilities include patrolling the property, responding to emergencies, and monitoring security systems.

This role also involves providing exceptional guest service while ensuring compliance with hotel policies. Candidates must have effective communication skills, valid certifications, and a driver's license.

Qualifications

  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school.
  • Valid certification in CPR/AED and first aid.
  • Must possess required valid professional credentials if required.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol the property to ensure security.
  • Act as first responder to alarms and medical calls.
  • Conduct detailed internal investigations into incidents.
  • Maintain accurate notes and log information.
  • Assist with lost and found procedures.

Skills

Effective communication skills in English
Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities
  • Patrol the property as required and ensure the security of hotel guests and assets.
  • Act as property first responder to alarms, medical calls, etc., and maintain absolute confidentiality on sensitive issues.
  • Conduct detailed internal investigations into incidents, and provide detailed, objective reports for each shift or incident.
  • Detect and resolve immediate safety issues; respond to the scene of an incident and act as an emergency first responder if required.
  • Maintain accurate notes and log information as required; ensure that all pass‑on information is communicated to the next shift.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Work closely with Front Office, Engineering, Housekeeping, and other departments to resolve security‑related concerns.
  • Assist with lost and found procedures and maintain proper documentation.
Qualifications
  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Must possess required valid professional credentials (if required by state or local regulations).
  • Valid certification in CPR/AED and first aid, or the ability to obtain certification.
  • Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving background/criminal history record.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
Working Environment/Physical Demands
  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to walk, stand, and sit 6-8 hours per day and may have exposure to basic office supply chemicals.
  • The team member is occasionally required to climb and use balance. Additionally, they will frequently be asked to use their hands and arms to reach, carry, pull, and lift up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member will experience temperature fluctuations (rain, wind, heat, humidity), and moderate to high noise levels.
