Job summary

Courtyard Minneapolis Downtown is seeking a part-time Restaurant Server to take orders and serve guests with courteous, knowledgeable service. You will handle beverage and food service, upsell where appropriate, and maintain accurate checks while ensuring a clean, welcoming dining area.

The role requires 2+ years in a similar setting, English proficiency, and a TIPS certification within 30 days. Weekend availability is needed; 3:30pm–11:00pm shifts apply with weekend work as required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a similar position with a full-service hotel or restaurant.
• TIPS training certification required within 30 days of hire date.
• Must have MICROS POS experience or knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

They must be courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable of all the hotel’s offerings, including outside of the food & beverage department.
