Job summary

Bluejack National is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join the Facilities Maintenance team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pools, carpentry, drywall, and exterior structures while ensuring safety and quality in all tasks.

You will deliver excellent customer service to residents and collaborate with colleagues to keep the facilities in optimal condition. The role requires a professional appearance and strong work ethic in a hospitality-focused

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum two years of related building maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pools, carpentry, drywall, and exterior structures.
• Must be able to use standard powered and non-powered tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with residents and teams.
• Bilingual a plus; CPO certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and perform repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related areas.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to keep equipment and facilities safe and mechanically sound.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to residents.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and repairs in the areas related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, swimming pools, carpentry, dry wall, exterior structural and appliances.
• Perform preventative maintenance to equipment and facilities, to make sure they are safe and mechanically sound.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to all residents.
• Communicate and effectively work together with your fellow team members.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and always maintain a professional image.
• Attend all relevant operational meetings.
• Perform duties with due regard for safety of self and fellow employees while exercising proper care and protection of company property.
• Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Complying with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
• Performing other work-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two (2) years related building maintenance experience.
• Technical knowledge in the following areas: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, swimming pools, carpentry, dry wall, exterior structural and appliances.
• Must be able to use standard powered and non-powered tools.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and a computerized maintenance management system involving preventative maintenance,
• Strong communication and correspondence skills with the ability to maintain sound working relationships and communications with members, management, staff, ownership, prospective buyers, and vendors.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work well independently as well as with a team, attention to quality and detail.
• Career oriented with strong commitment to the profession.
• Professional appearance and presentation.

• Ability to function under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions.

Approximate Schedule And Hours

Full time may require weekdays, weekends, and Holidays. Schedule flexible as business dictates.
