Job summary

Atrium Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Sioux Falls Sheraton. This role involves performing essential preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and repairing various systems to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.

Ideal candidates will have at least 6 months of maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel setting. The position offers full-time hours, competitive compensation, and a variety of perks including health insurance and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required; hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care.
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals.

Job Description

What You Will Do:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment

What We Are Looking For:
