Job summary

The Ballantyne, A Luxury Collection Hotel in Charlotte, NC seeks a Lobby Attendant to maintain cleanliness and presentation of the hotel lobby and public areas. You will clean, sanitize, and restock supplies to ensure a welcoming environment for guests.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, furniture, and fixtures; restocking restrooms; greeting guests; and reporting maintenance issues. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred, with flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Job Overview

The Housekeeping Lobby Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel lobby and public areas. This includes cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking supplies to ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all lobby areas, including floors, furniture, and fixtures.
• Empty trash cans and ashtrays regularly.
• Clean and sanitize public restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Vacuum carpets and rugs.
• Mop floors as needed.
• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist guests with inquiries and requests as needed.
• Respond to guest complaints and issues promptly and efficiently.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and restock as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.

Qualifications
