DoubleTree by Hilton Mesa is hiring a PM Prep / Line Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, support kitchen operations, and assist with banquet prep and service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The ideal candidate has professional kitchen experience, solid cooking techniques, strong organization and multitasking skills, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a hotel or full-service restaurant.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.

• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.

• Food Handler's certification or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and portion specifications.
• Complete daily food preparation, including chopping, portioning, marinating, and preparing ingredients for dinner service and upcoming shifts.
• Execute food orders efficiently and consistently during restaurant and bar service.
• Assist with banquet preparation and execution as business demands.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked workstation.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food storage procedures.
• Monitor product freshness, quality, and proper rotation using FIFO standards.
• Work closely with fellow cooks, servers, and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Assist with closing duties, including cleaning, labeling, storing products, and preparing the kitchen for the following day.
