Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cook or culinary training preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes (washing, cutting, measuring).
• Cook and bake using stoves, ovens, grills, and fryers.
• Ensure food meets quality standards, temperature, taste, texture and presentation.
• Assist in menu planning and daily specials.
• Maintain clean, organized kitchen; store ingredients/equipment properly.
• Monitor inventory and replenish stock as needed.
• Follow food safety, hygiene regulations and proper storage temperatures.
• Participate in cleaning duties (dishes, utensils, surfaces).
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak periods.
