Position Purpose

• Oversee kitchen staff and volunteers, implement program objectives, and set schedules.
• Manage kitchen maintenance, create menus, monitor inventory, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Manage food storage, prepare menus for events, and oversee sanitation and safety practices.
• Supervise staff, handle administrative duties, and promote our mission and values.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise cooks and leads as appropriate to the shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen management and supervision, knowledge of sanitation standards, and ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment.
• Leadership skills, independence, interpersonal communication, flexibility, basic computer skills, cultural awareness, and teamwork abilities.

Education and Experience

At least four years of related managerial kitchen experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates and Licenses

• Serve Safe Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Valid Colorado driver’s license, insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $23.00-$26.00 per hour. Full-time, 40 hours/week.
