Job summary

Community Dental Care in Maplewood, MN is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our PM shift team. You will deliver high-quality, compassionate care and help create an exceptional patient experience in a busy clinic.

Responsibilities include charting, examinations, treatment planning with the dentist, debridement, prophylaxis, nitrous oxide administration, and patient education. We offer flexible start times and options to pick up additional hygiene shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Dental Hygienist license.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Experience with culturally diverse communities preferred.
• Proficiency in a second language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care with a focus on the health needs of the patients.
• Perform preliminary and existing charting of the oral cavity and surrounding structures.
• Perform initial and periodic examinations and assessments.
• Formulate a dental hygiene treatment plan in coordination with a dentist’s treatment plan.
• Complete debridement, prophylaxis, and nonsurgical periodontal therapy; place subgingival medicaments.
• Provide nutritional counseling.
• Administer nitrous oxide inhalation analgesia and monitor patient.
• Apply topical medications including fluoride varnishes and desensitizing agents.

Join our team in Maplewood as a full-time Hygienist on the PM shift! Our Hygienists are essential members of the clinical team, delivering high-quality, compassionate care and creating an exceptional experience for every patient. We’re currently offering flexible start times for those interested in picking up a few hygiene shifts per week, with a minimum commitment of 4 hours per shift.

Monday-Thursday 2:20pm-9:30pm

Friday 12:50pm-5:30pm
