Community Dental Care in Crystal, MN is hiring a full-time Hygienist to join our clinical team. The position offers hours in Crystal with a salary range of $48.00 - $54.00 hourly. Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Dental Hygienist license.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care focusing on patient health needs.
• Chart the oral cavity and surrounding structures during initial and ongoing visits.
• Perform examinations and assessments as part of care planning.
• Coordinate hygiene treatment plans with the dentist.
• Complete debridement, prophylaxis, and nonsurgical periodontal therapy; place subgingival medicaments.
• Provide nutritional counseling to patients.
• Administer nitrous oxide analgesia and monitor patients.
• Apply topical medications including fluoride varnishes and desensitizing agents.

Our Hygienists serve as integral members of the clinical team in providing high quality and caring dentistry as well as an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care with a focus on the health needs of the patients
• Perform preliminary and existing charting of the oral cavity and surrounding structures
• Perform initial and periodic examinations and assessments
• Formulate a dental hygiene treatment plan in coordination with a dentist's treatment plan
• Complete debridement, prophylaxis, and nonsurgical periodontal therapy; place subgingival medicaments.
• Provide nutritional counseling
• Administer nitrous oxide inhalation analgesia and monitor patient
• Apply topical medications including fluoride varnishes and desensitizing agents

Qualifications

• Dental Hygienist license
• CPR/AED certification
• Experience working with culturally diverse communities preferred
• Proficiency in a second language preferred

Monday-Thursday 7:20am-3:30pm
Friday 7:20am-2:30pm
