Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality Group's Black Desert Resort in Southern Utah is seeking a PM Housekeeping Manager to oversee overnight housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas are clean, stocked, and guest-ready for the next day.

The role supervises the second shift and overnight team from 5pm to 2am, conducts inspections, responds to late-night guest needs, coordinates with departments, and ensures safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of housekeeping supervisory experience.
• Experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight during overnight hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the second shift housekeeping and overnight team, including guest room attendants and lobby staff.
• Coordinate nightly cleaning assignments and public area rotations.
• Respond promptly to late-night guest requests and housekeeping needs.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and proper PPE use.
• Monitor linen usage and coordinate overnight laundry operations.
• Communicate maintenance issues or safety concerns to appropriate departments.
• Manage staff scheduling, breaks, and shift coverage for full second shift coverage.
• Train and coach team members to follow resort procedures and hospitality standards.
• Prepare and deliver shift reports and communicate overnight updates to daytime leadership.

The PM Housekeeping Manager is responsible for overseeing the resort’s housekeeping operations during evening and overnight hours, ensuring that all guest accommodations and public areas are cleaned, restocked, and guest-ready for the following day.

Job Summary

The PM Housekeeping Manager supervises the overnight housekeeping team to maintain the resort’s high standards for cleanliness, presentation, and safety. This leadership role includes conducting inspections, resolving late-night guest needs, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring a smooth handoff to the daytime management team. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing staff in a luxury hospitality environment.

Onsite: Black Desert Resort

Shift & Schedule Availability: Year-Round / Full-Time / 5pm – 2am

Pay Range: $58,000 – $66,000/year. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

• Respond promptly to late-night guest requests, deliveries, and housekeeping needs
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, hallways, public restrooms, and service areas to ensure adherence to cleanliness and presentation standards
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper use of PPE and chemical handling
• Monitor linen usage and coordinate overnight laundry operations
• Communicate any maintenance issues, lost and found items, or safety concerns to appropriate departments
• Manage employee scheduling, breaks, and shift coverage to ensure full second shift coverage
• Train and coach second shift and overnight team members to follow resort procedures and hospitality standards
• Prepare and deliver shift reports and communicate overnight updates to daytime leadership
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 2–3 years of housekeeping supervisory experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and OSHA safety standards
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight during overnight hours
• Proficiency with housekeeping and scheduling systems (e.g., Nuvola) a plus
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Flexible schedule with consistent availability for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays
