Job summary

The Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel is seeking a courteous Houseperson to keep assigned areas clean and stocked, support the GRA team, and assist with guest requests in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include stocking linen, removing trays and garbage, maintaining corridors, cleaning stairwells, daily glassware and silverware washing, and ensuring a safe, secure setting for guests and associates.

Qualifications

• Maintain a 4–Diamond level of service.
• Assist GRA teams as needed.
• Collaborate with management on special projects.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Stock service landing closets with linen and supplies.
• Empty GRAs linens and garbage hourly or as needed.
• Assist GRAs with stripping guest rooms.
• Keep service landing clean and organized.
• Remove trays and garbage from guest floors.
• Maintain cleanliness of corridors, baseboards, and stairwells.
• Daily cleaning of guest room glassware and silverware.
• Ensure all guest room doors are free of scuff marks.
• Keep ice machine room clean and equipment maintained.
• Move furniture as requested.
• Complete guest requests and deliveries.
• Adhere to safety protocols and department radio communications.
• Maintain storage areas neat and clean.
