Job summary

St. Camillus is hiring a Per Diem PM Dining Services Worker Team Lead for an on-site role in Syracuse, NY. The shift runs 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a compensation range of $18.00 to $21.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include meal plating, maintaining sanitary kitchen standards, and teamwork to deliver nutritionally adequate meals to residents and patients. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read English and basic math, flexibility, and knowledge of Nursing Home

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Candidate must be able to read English and have basic math skills.
• Ability to work with people.
• Flexible availability.
• Knowledge of Nursing Home Dining Services Department.

Responsibilities

• Plates meals for serving on the units.
• Maintain a safe sanitary kitchen area.
• Work as part of a team to provide nutritionally adequate meals.
• Demonstrates professional and ethical standards.
• Informs management of any ethical concerns.
• Keeps residents and staff, families and visitors informed.
• Follows supervisory instructions and takes constructive feedback.
• Organizes and prioritizes daily work.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work areas.
• Adheres to safety regulations and reports hazards.
• Arrives on time and follows time-keeping procedures.
• Dresses according to dress code and wears ID badge.
• Assists in orientation of new staff.
• Attends mandated training programs.
