Job summary

Chick-fil-A restaurant is seeking team members to uphold service standards and contribute to a positive dining experience. You will read the Team Member Handbook, follow 2MS and Operational Excellence tenets, maintain a clean dining room and restrooms, and ensure portions and presentation meet expectations.

You will work as part of a team to protect the customer experience and learn and grow within the company. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Available to work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work 5 hours or more before needing a meal break.
• Understand Chick-fil-A customer service standards and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe dining room and restroom for guests.
• Deliver portions correctly and ensure presentation standards.
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory model.
• Protect the customer experience through quality packaging and presentation.
• Handle customer issues and assist with recovery.
• Be punctual, maintain a positive attitude, and work hard during shifts.
• Continuously look for ways to do your work better and faster.
• Pursue certification processes and seek cross-training opportunities.
• Fill shifts when you cannot work.
• Maintain compliance with the Handbook and appearance guidelines.
• Be a team player and show ownership for the business.

General Responsibilities:

Read, understand and comply with all parts of the Team Member Handbook

Understand all tenets of Second Mile Service (2MS), Operational Excellence (OE) and Creating Emotional Connections (EC).

Maintain a clean and safe dining room and restroom environment for guests

Deliver portions that are correct and meet presentation expectations

Execute FIFO (First In, First Out) model is being followed.

Protect the customer experience by ensuring packaging, food presentation and quality is top level.

Appropriately handle all customer issues and play a positive role in customer recovery.

Show up on time, have a great attitude and work hard for your entire shift.

Constantly improve yourself by finding ways to do your work better and faster.

Proactively pursue the certification process and look for opportunities to be cross-trained.

Be responsible to fill your shift if you are not able work

Ensure your appearance is in compliance with the Handbook

Be a team player

Display good stewardship and a sense of ownership for the business.
