Lifespark's Chaska Heights Senior Living in Minnesota is seeking a Chef/Cook to join our growing team. This full-time, on-site role focuses on preparing meals in accordance with resident diets and facility procedures, touching lives by helping seniors age magnificently.

You will follow planned menus, assist with cleaning, and ensure proper food storage and diet changes are implemented. The compensation is hourly, $17.50 to $22.50 per hour, depending on experience, with Lifespark benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.
• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, residents’ families, and employees.

Responsibilities

• In this position, you will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations.
• Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures.
• Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils.
• Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy.
• Ensure proper storage for food and supplies.
• Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures.
