Job summary

Avance Cabinetry Inc. is seeking a Plywood Associate to join our Fall River manufacturing team. You will select plywood materials, cut and machine components, and prepare plywood parts used in cabinetry.

The role requires safe operation of CNC equipment, panel saws, edge banders, and various hand tools. Maintain clean work areas and assist with other tasks as needed. The position is 100% onsite at 132 Sykes Road Fall River MA 02720 with a Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Complete plywood components for production orders, purchase orders, FedEx replacement orders, and warehouse transfers.
• Manufacture plywood cabinet components.
• Cut plywood sheets to size using CNC routers or panel saws.
• Machine parts for joinery, hardware placement, and assembly.
• Apply edge banding and perform quality checks.
• Assemble cabinet boxes or subassemblies as required.
• Prepare finished components for downstream processes.
• Ensure accurate measurements and that all parts meet specifications.
• Safely operate CNC machinery, panel saws, edge banders, drills, sanders and other tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist other departments and perform additional tasks as assigned.

About the Role

We are seeking a Plywood Associate to join our manufacturing team. This individual will be responsible for selecting appropriate plywood materials, cutting, machining, and preparing plywood components used in cabinet construction. The role requires the safe and efficient use of CNC equipment, panel saws, edge banders, and various hand and power tools. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean work area and assisting with other tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with CNC machinery, woodworking equipment, or manufacturing tools preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements.
• Ability to read and interpret tape measures, cut lists, and blueprints.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Ability to work efficiently while following all safety protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to lift to 49 lbs.
• Safety shoes required.
