Job summary

ChampionX, now part of SLB, seeks a Mechanical Engineer II in Crowley, TX to lead and support the Plunger Lift product line's design and manufacturing activities. You will apply advanced engineering principles to understand client requirements and implement robust specifications and designs.

You will manage projects within budget, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with manufacturing and field teams to ensure safety, quality, and reliability across all stages of product development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years as mechanical/manufacturing engineer.
• Experience designing for machining and assembly.
• Strong knowledge of ERP data management & BOMs.
• Proficient with drafting standards and 3D parametric modeling.
• Solid MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and manufacturing of Plunger Lift product line.
• Develop and validate technical specifications and designs.
• Manage project controls and budgeting.
• Identify issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor team members.
• Ensure safety, quality and reliability in all work.
