Job summary

IES is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. You will receive shipments, pick, pack, and stage orders, stock inventory, and maintain a clean, safe work environment in a fast-paced setting.

You will operate forklifts, perform cycle counts, prepare shipping labels, and ensure items are stored per company standards. A High School diploma and 1+ year warehouse experience are required; a Florida driver’s license is preferred if local deliveries may occur.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 1+ years of warehouse experience preferred. HVAC/Plumbing knowledge is a plus.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record required.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Ability to pass required safety training, background checks, and drug screening.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Self-motivated, punctual, and dependable with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming deliveries to verify accuracy and condition of items.
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for customer delivery or transfer.
• Stock materials in designated areas and maintain organized inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently, including frequent mounting and dismounting.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness by removing trash, sweeping, and organizing materials.
• Prepare shipping labels and documentation for outbound orders.
• Ensure products are labeled and stored according to company standards.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE and equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
