Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance operations in a manufacturing setting. The role oversees a skilled trades team, focusing on plumbing and building systems while ensuring safety and reliability on a 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM schedule, with after-hours on-call eligibility.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in building maintenance or skilled trades, with strong plumbing experience.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of building systems, with plumbing specialty preferred.
  • Experience with CMMS/work order systems; understanding of preventative maintenance programs.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, regulations, and best practices in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to work extended hours and respond to emergency situations as needed; valid driver’s license.

  • Supervise and actively support building and facilities maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
  • Plan, schedule, and assign work to maintenance staff, ensuring productivity and high-quality results.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
  • Inspect and verify completed work to ensure accuracy and equipment reliability.
  • Oversee maintenance and repair of critical facility equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure proper availability of materials, tools, and supplies; coordinate purchasing as needed.
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members to drive skill development and performance.
  • Prepare cost estimates for projects and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records, including work orders, maintenance logs, and payroll timekeeping.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to support production goals.
  • Pay Rate: $33.17 - $35.16 Per HR

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading daily maintenance operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role oversees a skilled trades team, ensuring all facility systems are maintained safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to production.

This position works a primary shift of 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and requires on-call availability after hours and weekends for emergency support.
