Job summary

AIRO Mechanical is seeking a Plumbing Superintendent to lead and oversee plumbing projects from start to finish at commercial and industrial sites in the Orlando area. You will manage on-site activities, enforce safety protocols, and ensure quality, schedule, and client expectations are met.

You will coordinate plumbers, subcontractors, and materials, review plans and specs, monitor progress, control costs, and maintain detailed project records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Plumbing Superintendent in commercial and industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of Plumbing systems, installation methods, and industry best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and practices in construction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
• Plumbing-related certifications and licenses a plus.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that Plumbing installations comply with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
• Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing project updates as needed.
• Identify and resolve project-related issues and challenges promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, progress reports, and as‑built drawings.
• Assist in monitoring project budgets and controlling costs effectively.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the role:

As a Plumbing Superintendent at Airo Mechanical, you will assume a leadership role in overseeing Plumbing projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for managing all on-site aspects of Plumbing installations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion.
