Job summary

AIRO Mechanical in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Plumbing Superintendent to lead on-site plumbing projects from start to finish. You will supervise technicians and subcontractors, ensure code-compliant installations, and enforce safety policies while coordinating resources and maintaining client communications.

Ideal candidates bring proven leadership in commercial/industrial plumbing, strong reading of plans, and OSHA-10; driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Plumbing Superintendent in commercial and industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of Plumbing systems, installation methods, and industry best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Solid understanding of safety regulations and practices in construction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification preferred.
• Plumbing-related certifications and licenses a plus.
• A valid driver's license.

• Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and providing project updates as needed.
• Identify and resolve project-related issues and challenges promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, progress reports, and as-built drawings.
• Assist in monitoring project budgets and controlling costs effectively.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the role:

As a Plumbing Superintendent at Airo Mechanical, you will assume a leadership role in overseeing Plumbing projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for managing all on-site aspects of Plumbing installations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion.
