Job summary

Corvant in Texas is seeking a Plumbing Superintendent to oversee installation and coordination of plumbing work on mission-critical commercial and industrial sites. You will supervise crews, liaise with general contractors and trade partners, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance on multiple projects onsite.

The role requires standing onsite, coordinating material deliveries, and traveling out of state as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• Minimum ten years of plumbing or related supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work site is compliant with OSHA regulations and RMC Safety protocols.
• Manage and schedule installation of Plumbing material and equipment.
• Maintain consistent contact with General Contractors to track installation dates.
• Request and coordinate plumbing material and equipment needs with purchasing department.
• Coordinate delivery of material and equipment to the job site.
• Check options and equipment list to ensure material is correct.
• Keep project status up to date to ensure timely delivery.
• Lay out crews to install material on scheduled dates.
• Attend and participate in GC meetings.
• Conduct weekly inspections and safety meetings; provide copies of signed safety forms.

Plumbing Superintendent is responsible for maintaining an open, positive, and professional line of communication with customers, vendors, general contractors, internal customers, and trade partners. The Superintendent supervises employees and maintains a safe working environment compliant with government regulatory guidelines and RMC Safety systems on multiple projects simultaneously. This position is onsite and requires out of state travel. Travel is required.

Job Responsibilities

• Request and coordinate plumbing material and equipment needs with purchasing department.
• Coordinate delivery of material and equipment to the job site.
• Check options and equipment list to ensure material is correct.
• Keep project status up to date to ensure timely delivery.
• Lay out crews to install material on scheduled dates.
• Attend and participate in GC meetings.
• Conduct weekly inspections, and safety meetings. Provide copies of signed safety forms to General Contractor and RMC Safety team.
• Walks job constantly to follow-up with Foreman and installers.
• Schedule and direct quality control technician daily, communicate with technician constantly to maintain schedule.
• Identify problems that need to be corrected.
• Follow-up on all purchase orders and/or extra work.
• Maintain open and positive communication with Trade Partners.
• Manage Sub-contractors, ensure work done meets contract and company requirements.
• Keep up to date with all RMC Policy and Procedures, industry standards and government regulations.
• Available via telephone after hours and on weekends for emergency and/or customer related issues.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• OSHA 30 Certification required.
• Ten or more years of experience required.

• Reach with hand (s) and arm (s).
