Job description

We are seeking EXPERIENCED Service Plumbers to join our team in the Winston Salem, NC area!

Specific Job Requirements

1. Ability to perform all plumbing repairs and replacements to code.
2. Ability to solder and perform necessary work associated with the plumbing project the client requires.
3. Must be capable of troubleshooting, diagnosing, and explaining all problems and options to the client.
4. Must be capable of performing a thorough and accurate plumbing inspection and communicating findings to the client.
5. Ability to complete paperwork legibly and in an understandable manner.
6. Ability to perform calculations necessary for plumbing work as well as calculations necessary for invoicing purposes.
7. Must be comfortable asking for payment and collecting money.
8. Must comply with all safety standards and processes.
9. Must be able to climb ladders and work in confined spaces.
10. Must know and adhere to all state plumbing codes.
11. Ability to communicate the benefits of club memberships to clients.
12. Must meet standards such as callback ratio, average ticket, productivity, club membership conversion, and accurate Good, Better, Best Pricing Calculations.

1. Ability to read a map.
2. Present a professional image by arriving on time, wearing company uniforms, and being neat and well-groomed.
3. Have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
4. Ability to communicate effectively with all clients, including working well with women.
5. Ability to supervise apprentices.
6. Respect and protect clients’ homes by wearing shoe covers.
7. Keep truck clean, stocked, and accurately inventoried.
8. Willingness to continue training for personal growth and to train new employees.

Salary Range & Status

Full-time hourly position. Salary depends on experience. Bonuses are paid based on club membership sales, scoreboard standing, and product sales.

Working Conditions

1. Typically, a 40-hour work week, with additional hours during “on-call” rotation and to complete work in progress.
2. Working hours may vary from 7:00am to 3:30pm.
3. Must be available for on-call rotation.
4. Work includes indoor and outdoor environments, in inclement weather and temperature extremes.

Educational Requirements

1. Rheem Water Heater Training.
2. Navien Tankless Water Heater Training Academy.
3. Backflow Prevention Assembly Certified Tester Course.
4. The Professional Tradesman.

Drug/Alcohol and Motor Vehicle Testing

1. Testing occurs prior to employment and randomly during employment without prior notice. Motor vehicle checks are performed if a company vehicle is involved.

General

1. Ability to work as part of a team.
2. Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
