Drain Kingz Plumbing, LLC is seeking a full-time Plumbing Service Technician in Midvale, UT. The role pays $70,000–$90,000 per year, depending on experience, with performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.

The schedule is 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. You'll cover a 50-mile radius around Salt Lake City and join a team that values growth, mentorship, uniforms, a company phone, a boot allowance, a work vehicle, and gas card.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential plumbing service experience.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to cover a 50-mile radius around Salt Lake City.
• Ability to attend weekly in-office and on-site meetings.
• Ability to handle the physical demands of the position, including lifting 50+ lbs.
• Ability to accurately, independently diagnose, repair, and maintain systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing system issues in residential settings.
• Provide accurate cost estimates and upsell service options when appropriate.
• Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs to industry standards.
• Document services, take photos, and manage invoices accurately.

This residential service role pays $70,000 – $90,000/year (depending on experience), allows you to earn performance-based bonuses, and offers an 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday schedule.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 2+ years of residential plumbing service experience
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to cover a 50-mile radius around Salt Lake City
• Ability to attend weekly in-office and on-site meetings

• Ability to accurately, independently diagnose, repair, and maintain systems

3+ years of experience, relevant licenses, or a journeyman certification would be ideal. Experience servicing water heaters, water softeners, residential pipes (and more) would also be a bonus. Experience with generating estimates and upselling service options would be a plus. The ideal Plumbing Service Technician is communicative, customer service-minded, and proficient with field service software like Housecall Pro.

Your Impact as our Plumbing Service Technician:

You'll be the problem-solving expert who can accurately diagnose the source of system issues and perform top-quality repairs to get the system in peak order. Strong communication and customer service skills are helpful, as you'll need to be able to build rapport with customers, clearly present service options, and sell additional upgrades or replacements.

You'll prepare cost estimates and help the customer see the value in choosing us for their residential plumbing needs. Once you've gained their approval, you'll perform the appropriate repairs, maintenance, and installations in compliance with regulations and building codes. You'll document your services, take photos, send invoices, accurately record payment details, and clean your work area to help uphold our reputation for professional excellence and customer satisfaction!
