Job summary

Larry & Sons Plumbing, Heating, Cooling, Drain & Electrical in Hagerstown, MD is hiring full-time Plumbing Service Technicians to support emergency calls and weekend coverage.

Salary ranges from $25.00 to $40.00 per hour with a sign-on bonus up to $5,000; schedule Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday, 4:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m., on-site work. Company-provided truck and tools, ongoing training, and benefits are offered for long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing installations and maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential and/or commercial settings.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues with accuracy and efficiency.
• Install and repair piping systems, fixtures, water heaters, and related components.
• Operate and maintain company-provided tools and service vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, local codes, and company procedures.
• Document work performed and communicate with team members and customers.

Location: Hagerstown, MD

Work Type: On-Site

Schedule: Full-Time

Pay:$25.00 to $40.00 an hour+ additional bonus potential

Sign On Bonus: Up to $5,000 for qualified technicians.

Schedule: This position will primarily support emergency calls and weekend coverage. The current preferred scheduling options are Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday, with hours of 4:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. midnight. These schedules are intended to provide additional evening and weekend coverage based on business needs. Other scheduling options are also available and may be discussed based on business needs and operational requirements.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance services in residential and/or commercial settings

What We Are Looking For:

• Previous plumbing experience (apprentice, journeyman, or equivalent) preferred
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or certification a plus
