Job summary

Muetzel Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is seeking Experienced Plumbing Service Technicians in Columbus, OH. Ideal candidates will have commercial and residential plumbing experience and a strong service mindset.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing and installing fixtures, communicating with customers and coworkers, and maintaining a professional work environment. 4+ years of service plumbing is desired; salary starts at $36+ per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Certification from an accredited apprenticeship program (field experience acceptable).
• Driver's license with a good record required.
• Drug-free, outgoing and professional, able to work in a team.
• Ability to diagnose plumbing issues and broaden knowledge.
• Experience with commercial and residential plumbing.

Muetzel Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is looking for Experienced Plumbing Service Technician(s).

Ideal candidates will have experience working on both commercial and residential plumbing systems.

Job Duties:

• Servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and installing water heaters, tubs, toilets, sinks, faucets, showers, various valves, pipes, drains, pumps, backflow devices, disposals, etc.
• Arrive on time for work each day.
• Work with a sense of urgency.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff and co-workers.
• Help maintain and promote company morale, professionalism and a friendly work environment.

Qualifications:

• Certification from an accredited apprenticeship program (field experience acceptable alternative).
• Customer service experience with strong people skills.
• Applicants must have a current driver's license and a good record, as you will be driving a company vehicle to customer's homes and businesses.
• Outgoing, professional and drug-free.
• Able to work in a team atmosphere.
• Able to diagnosis plumbing issues and trouble shoot plumbing equipment.
• Have the desire and capacity to broaden your knowledge of the plumbing industry.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of Service Plumbing experience is desired.
• Acceptable background and DMV reports.
• Submit to drug test.
• $36.00+ per hour depending on experience and job knowledge.
• All technicians are paid hourly and not based on a sales goal being met.
• Typical workday is 7:00 am to 4:00 pm and the work week is Monday – Friday.
