Job summary

Muetzel Plumbing Heating & Cooling is seeking a hard-working apprentice to learn the service side of the plumbing trade. You will gain hands-on experience installing and servicing water heaters, sinks, toilets, and more while building relationships with customers.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, be at least 18, possess a valid driver's license, and be able to lift 70 pounds. The role offers steady hours, overtime when needed, and a family-owned company culture.

Muetzel Plumbing Heating & Cooling is looking for a hard-working individual who is ready to learn the service side of the plumbing trade. We are looking for someone who is energetic and great at building relationships. The ideal candidate will have received their high school diploma or better and are not afraid of hard physical work while keeping a good attitude.

Job Duties:

• Learning and assisting in the servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and installation ofwater heaters, tubs, toilets, sinks, faucets, showers, various valves, pipes, drains, pumps, backflow devices, disposals, etc.
• Arrive on time for work each day.
• Present a clean cut and professional image.
• Work with a sense of urgency.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff and co-workers.
• Help maintain and promote company morale, professionalism and a friendly work environment.

Qualifications:

• Must have a high school diplomaor better.
• Great attitude and strong people skills.
• Applicants must have a current driver's license and a good driving record as they may drive a company vehicle.
• Outgoing, professional, clean cut and drug-free.
• Able to work in a team atmosphere.
• Have the desire and capacity to study and learn about the plumbing service industry.

Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to lift at least 70 pounds without restrictions.
• Clean background check.
• Submit to drug testing.
• Clean DMV report.
• Able to work overtime when needed.
• Allapprentices are paid hourly.
• Typical workday is 7:00 am to 4:00 pm and the work week is Monday - Friday.
