Job summary

Bonfe Plumbing, Heating & Air Service, Inc. in South Saint Paul is seeking a Plumbing Service Manager to lead a team of technicians responsible for residential service, repair, installation and maintenance.

You will drive department performance and ensure the team has training, coaching, resources, and support to succeed. The role offers competitive pay of $80,000 to $100,000 per year, full-time, with benefits including medical and dental, 401(k) match, PTO, uniforms, and ongoing career

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management or leadership experience.
• Plumbing license not required but highly preferred.
• Strong organizational, prioritization and project management skills.
• Ability to analyze data and drive performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily department operations, including reviewing performance metrics, prior-day results, and priorities.
• Conduct department meetings and participate in daily operations huddles to maintain alignment and accountability.
• Provide ongoing technical, customer service, and Nexstar training to develop technician skills and performance.
• Ensure team members understand and consistently follow Bonfe processes, systems, and standards.
• Monitor department performance through daily metrics, reporting, and performance logs.
• Identify performance gaps and develop and implement coaching plans to support individual and team development.
• Participate in the On-Call rotation and provide leadership support when needed.
• Support the recruiting, interviewing, hiring, performance management, and disciplinary processes for the department.
• Promote a positive, collaborative team environment focused on customer experience, employee development, and operational excellence.

Plumbing Journeyman's License Not Required But Highly Preferred

As a Plumbing Service Manager, you’ll lead and support a team of plumbing technicians responsible for residential service, repair, installation, and maintenance. You’ll help drive department performance while ensuring technicians have the training, coaching, resources, and support they need to succeed.

What You'll Do:

What You'll Bring:

• Required: 5+ years Previous management or leadership experience.
• Experience leading and developing employees.
• Plumbing License or experience not required but highly preferred.

• Highly organized and self-motivated, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
