Job summary

Southland Industries, Inc. in Columbus, OH seeks a senior design engineer to lead design efforts for large or complex building projects, covering fire protection, plumbing, HVAC and other mechanical disciplines.

You will supervise design teams, develop advanced design solutions, and coordinate with owners, GCs and AHJs to ensure deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 9 years of experience in construction engineering design.
• NICET Level III Certification for Fire Protection is required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong leadership skills in project execution, including budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.
