ME Engineers is seeking a talented Engineer to join our MEP team in Omaha, NE. You will contribute to plumbing system design, construction documentation, and multidisciplinary collaboration across commercial, healthcare, education, and government projects.

Responsibilities include site visits, vendor coordination, and supporting project leaders while fostering client relationships and professional growth. Hybrid work options and a focus on technical leadership are provided.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of engineering experience.
• EIT or PE licensure preferred, depending on experience level.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, or similar design software.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary projects, teams, and stakeholders is a plus.
• Demonstrated success in project coordination, client interaction, and leadership responsibilities is preferred for experienced candidates.

Responsabilidades

• Design and coordinate plumbing building systems and engineering solutions.
• Prepare and review construction documents using Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software.
• Perform plumbing engineering calculations, technical analyses, and system evaluations.
• Size, select, and schedule plumbing equipment.
• Coordinate with equipment vendors on equipment selections.
• Medical gas and lab gas design experience a plus
• Collaborate with project teams, clients, architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and project deliverable management.
• Conduct site visits, field investigations, and construction administration activities.
• Support project managers and senior engineers in project execution and coordination efforts.
• Contribute to client relationship development and project success.
• Mentor and support junior team members, as experience allows.
• Apply industry standards, codes, and best practices throughout project work.
