Job summary

ME Engineers is seeking a talented and motivated Engineer to join our team. This role offers opportunities to work on projects across commercial, healthcare, education, sports, government, hospitality, and institutional markets, contributing to design, coordination, and project leadership from concept through construction.

You'll design and coordinate plumbing systems, review drawings in Revit and AutoCAD, perform calculations, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 3-5 years of engineering experience preferred.
• EIT or PE licensure preferred depending on experience.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, or similar design software.

ME Engineers is seeking a talented and motivated Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals at various stages of their careers who are passionate about developing innovative engineering solutions and advancing their technical and project leadership skills within the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Technology) consulting industry. As part of our team, you'll work on projects across commercial, healthcare, education, sports, government, hospitality, and institutional markets. Depending on your experience level, you will contribute to engineering design, project coordination, construction administration, and project leadership while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful projects from concept through construction.

What You\'ll Do

• Design and coordinate plumbing building systems and engineering solutions.


• Prepare and review construction documents using Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software.


• Perform plumbing engineering calculations, technical analyses, and system evaluations.


• Size, select, and schedule plumbing equipment.


• Coordinate with equipment vendors on equipment selections.


• Medical gas and lab gas design experience a plus


• Collaborate with project teams, clients, architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders.


• Participate in project planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and project deliverable management.


• Conduct site visits, field investigations, and construction administration activities.


• Support project managers and senior engineers in project execution and coordination efforts.


• Contribute to client relationship development and project success.


• Mentor and support junior team members, as experience allows.


• Apply industry standards, codes, and best practices throughout project work.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.


• 3-5 years of engineering experience.


• EIT or PE licensure preferred, depending on experience level.


• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, or similar design software.


• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.


• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary projects, teams, and stakeholders is a plus.


• Demonstrated success in project coordination, client interaction, and leadership responsibilities is preferred for experienced candidates.
