Franklin Plumbing, located in Columbia, SC, is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Plumbing Service Manager to join our results-driven team.

The Plumbing Service Manager will work a regular schedule from 7 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday, with additional on-call responsibilities. Evening, night, and weekend hours may be required as needed to ensure uninterrupted service and project completion.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

In this Plumbing Service Manager role, you will lead and supervise plumbing technicians and field crews, ensuring that all teams are adequately staffed and perform to company standards. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and scheduling staff, as well as overseeing the planning and coordination of residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing projects. Managing timelines, prioritizing work orders, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget are central to the position. You will conduct site inspections to maintain quality control, verify compliance with safety regulations and building codes, and promptly address any deficiencies or callbacks. The role includes overseeing procurement and inventory of materials and equipment, managing vehicle maintenance, and ensuring all field crews are properly equipped. In addition, you will handle customer relations, respond to escalated issues, review estimates and bids, and support business growth through repeat and new contracts, all while fostering a professional and results-oriented team environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools
• Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and analyze operational performance
• Solid communication skills for interacting with clients, crews, and vendors
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in business management, construction management, or a related field (preferred)
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (often required)
