Job summary

ColonialWebb Contractors Company is seeking an experienced Plumbing Operations Supervisor in Richmond, VA to oversee warehouse and field plumbing activities. You will manage Supervisors, Plumbers, Apprentices, and Helpers while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time project execution.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of supervisory plumbing or mechanical construction experience, knowledge of local codes, and lean-improvement mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in plumbing, mechanical construction, or related operations.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and standards (local, state, and/or IPC/UPC).
• Experience with prefabrication or material staging for construction projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and plumbing-related activities (prefabrication, material staging, and jobsite support).
• Plan workflow, manpower, and operational goals to maintain efficiency and meet deadlines.
• Monitor performance and address challenges to maintain productivity.
• Promote continuous improvement using Lean principles (5S, Kaizen, standardized work).
• Coordinate with procurement and project teams to ensure material flow and readiness.
• Enforce safety policies and OSHA regulations across teams.
