ENCON Heating & AC is seeking a skilled plumber to join the Stratford, CT team. You will perform residential and light commercial plumbing repairs, installations, and water heater work with a strong focus on workmanship and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing repairs and installations, including kitchens, bathrooms, gas lines, and waterlines.
• Install and repair water heaters (standard and tankless).
• Handle tub, shower, toilet, and faucet installations.
• Diagnose and repair leaks and plumbing issues.
• Repair and maintain pool heating systems.
• Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Accurately document work performed and report issues as needed.

We are looking for an experienced plumber to join our Stratford, CT team. The ideal candidate will have strong residential and/or commercial plumbing experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while delivering high‑quality work.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Perform plumbing repairs and installations, including kitchens, bathrooms, gas lines, and waterlines.
• Install and repair water heaters (standard and tankless).
• Handle tub, shower, toilet, and faucet installations.
• Diagnose and repair leaks and plumbing issues.
• Repair and maintain pool heating systems.
• Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety standards.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5 years or more servicing plumbing equipment
• High School Diploma
• Ability to operate a computer and assigned software (including email)
• Knowledge of normal safety practices pertaining to the trade.
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills, self‑motivated, flexible and team player
• Good communication skills; written and verbal
• Positive attitude with good organizational skills. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks

Eligibility Requirements:

• Valid drivers license.
• Employment/education will be verified.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

• Manual dexterity to handle tools and small parts.
• Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment safely.
