Job summary

JPI Plumbing & Heating in New York is seeking an experienced Plumbing Mechanic to handle rough-in and finish plumbing on residential and commercial renovation projects, troubleshoot systems, and collaborate with other trades. You will read drawings and interpret building conditions to deliver high-quality installations.

We require 5+ years of remodeling experience, strong knowledge of plumbing systems and codes, a valid driver’s license, OSHA 30, and SST certifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of plumbing renovation or remodel experience.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation methods, and applicable plumbing codes.
• Ability to read plans, assess existing conditions, and solve problems independently.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• 30-Hour OSHA certification and 10-Hour SST certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete rough-in and finish plumbing for residential and commercial renovation projects.
• Troubleshoot plumbing systems and develop practical solutions to unexpected site conditions.
• Work closely with other trades to keep projects moving.
• Read drawings and interpret existing building conditions to complete high-quality installations.
• Ensure all work complies with plumbing codes, safety requirements, and company standards.
• Complete accurate job reports and daily service tickets.
