Job summary

Sierra Air is seeking motivated individuals to join as Plumbing Maintenance Trainee in Reno, NV. This entry‑level role includes hands‑on plumbing inspections, maintenance tasks, and customer interactions with a focus on safety and compliance.

You will receive 8‑week paid training starting Sept 14, 2026, with a strong emphasis on sales skills and product knowledge. Earn $60K-$80K+ in your first year through hourly pay plus unlimited commissions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of customer service and/or sales experience; in-home consultative sales a plus.
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and good communication.
• Driver's license valid in-state.

Responsibilities

• Plumbing inspections and consultation: conduct general plumbing & water quality inspections to determine maintenance, repair, and replacement needs in residential settings to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes.
• General maintenance: diagnose and resolve plumbing issues, such as drain cleaning, repairing leaks, water heater repair and replacement, and other preventative maintenance.
• Customer interaction: develop customer service skills by assisting with client interactions and addressing their concerns professionally.
• Safety and compliance: adhere to all safety standards and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment. Identify potential safety hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Documentation: assist in maintaining accurate records of services performed and parts used. Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports for management and regulatory agencies to review.
• Training: participate in on-the-job training and attend workshops to develop plumbing skills and knowledge. Continuously educate and train to stay updated with the latest plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.

• Current and valid driver’s license in the state in which you will be working.
