Bell Brothers Plumbing, Heating & Air in Sacramento is hiring Plumbing Sales Trainees. This role offers hands-on training, a clear path into HVAC and plumbing sales, and a chance to earn a strong income through commissions.

Eight-week paid training begins September 14th, 2026. You will conduct inspections, advise customers, and build product knowledge while growing your career in a supportive, high-demand team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of customer service and/or sales experience.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license in the state where you will work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general plumbing & water quality inspections to determine maintenance, repair, and replacement needs in residential settings.
• Learn to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues such as drain cleaning and water heater repair.
• Develop customer service skills by assisting with client interactions and addressing concerns.
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used; prepare detailed reports.

*** 8-Week Paid Training beginning September 14th, 2026. Plumbing Sales Techs can earn $60-80K+ in their first year!

Key Responsibilities:

• Plumbing inspections and consultation: Conduct general plumbing & water quality inspections to determine maintenance, repair, and replacement needs in residential settings to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes.
• General maintenance: Learn to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues, such as drain cleaning, repairing leaks, water heater repair and replacement, and other preventative maintenance.
• Customer interaction: Develop customer service skills by assisting with client interactions and addressing their concerns professionally.
• Safety and compliance: Adhere to all safety standards and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment. Identify potential safety hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Documentation: Assist in maintaining accurate records of services performed and parts used. Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports for management and regulatory agencies to review.
• Training: Participate in on-the-job training and attend workshops to develop plumbing skills and knowledge. Continuously educate and train to stay updated with the latest plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of customer service and/or sales experience. Experience with in-home, consultative sales is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Good communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
• Current and valid driver's license in the state in which you will be working.

Pay Range

$60,000 - $80,000 USD
