Doswell Operating Group is seeking a skilled Plumbing Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and inspections across facilities in the Richmond, VA area. The role emphasizes safe operation, leak detection, and timely repairs, using hand and power tools as needed to sustain building systems.

The ideal candidate has a strong plumbing background, is safety-conscious, and willing to work from a bucket truck while adhering to company procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong plumbing maintenance background required.
• Ability to work safely at heights, including operating and working from a bucket truck.
• General maintenance experience strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of painting, drywall repair, plumbing, and facility upkeep.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.
• Fluent English-speaking and writing skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on plumbing systems and equipment.
• Inspect piping, fixtures, valves, drains, pumps, water heaters, and related components.
• Conduct repairs and equipment replacements as needed.
• Test systems for proper operation and identify leaks, corrosion, blockages, or worn components.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain tools and work areas.
