General Responsibilities

• Prepare and teach assigned courses with the NCCER course syllabus
• Maintain accurate registration, attendance, and payroll records for each course taught
• Prepare, review, and update course syllabus
• Recommend and assist with curriculum revisions
• Use formative and summative assessment techniques
• Create an effective learning environment
• Assist with maintaining classroom environment emphasizing safety, good housekeeping, and equipment security
• Maintain student, instructor, and staff confidentiality
• Multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Adapt and respond to changing work situations with a positive manner
• Interact with students, the public, the community, and co‑workers in a cooperative manner
• Comply with college policies and procedures
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor
• Accept teaching assignments during the day, evening, weekends, or online

Qualifications
