Job summary

Call The Bee, a CT plumbing company with over 20 years of service, seeks a Plumbing Installer. You will install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems, including water heaters, toilets, faucets, and fixtures, and ensure safety, code compliance, and customer satisfaction.

We offer training to grow your skills, a $2,000 sign-on bonus based on experience, and flexible schedules (four ten-hour shifts or Tue-Sat / Wed-Sun).

Qualifications

• Must be CT licensed (P2/P1 Journeyman or Master)
• 3+ years of plumbing installer experience
• Residential plumbing installations and repairs experience
• Experience with Service Titan or similar trade software a plus
• Strong communication and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license with clean record

Responsibilities

• Plumbing System Installation & Repairs – Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures including water heaters, toilets, faucets, and soldering
• System Inspections & Testing – Inspect and test systems for safety, function, water quality, and code compliance in homes
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics – Identify issues, troubleshoot malfunctions, and provide effective solutions
• Customer Interaction – Inform customers of issues, recommended solutions, and service outcomes
• Code Compliance – Ensure installations and repairs meet national, state, and local codes
• Cost Estimates & Service Calls – Respond to inquiries, handle service calls, prepare cost estimates
• Record Keeping – Use Service Titan to document repairs and service activity
• Safety Compliance – Adhere to safety standards in all work
• Customer Service – Deliver professional, customer-focused service

$$ SIGN-ON BONUS UP TO $2K BASED ON EXPERIENCE $$

Alternative schedules available, along with Monday-Friday:

• Four 10 hour shifts a week
• Tuesday - Saturday
• Wednesday - Sunday
• 11am - 8pm, 12pm - 9pm
• Nights & Weekends, etc.

Job Responsibilities

• Plumbing System Installation & Repairs– Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures, including toilet replacements, faucet replacements, water heater replacements, soldering, and common plumbing repairs
• System Inspections & Testing– Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, water quality, and code compliance in residential settings
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics– Identify issues, troubleshoot system malfunctions, and provide effective solutions to customers
• Customer Interaction– Communicate with customers to inform them of issues, recommended solutions, and service outcomes
• Code Compliance– Ensure all installations and repairs comply with national, state, and local plumbing codes
• Cost Estimates & Service Calls– Respond to customer inquiries, handle service call-outs, and prepare cost estimates for plumbing services
• Record Keeping– UtilizeService Titansoftware to document repairs, maintenance, and service calls accurately
• Safety Compliance– Follow industry safety standards to ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
• Customer Service– Deliver exceptional service with a professional and customer-focused approach

Qualifications

• Experience– 3+ years of experience as a plumbing installer or a similar role
• Certifications– Plumbing certification or equivalent experience from a technical/trade school is preferred
• Technical Expertise– Strong knowledge of plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance, including water heaters, toilets, faucets, and common fixtures
• Service Software– Experience withService Titanor similar trade software is a plus
• Communication Skills– Strong communication and listening skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
• Attention to Detail– Ability to perform accurate work while adhering to all plumbing codes and regulations
• Customer-Focused– A commitment to delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Driver’s License– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
